For our 10th Anniversary we spent a great week in the capital city!!! What an amazing place it is!! Such a huge city, so much history, lots of interesting ancient sites, great food, such warm, friendly people...so much to see and do!
We spent 4 days exploring the city and one day in the neighboring towns of Coyoacan and San Angel.
Another day we took a 1 hour bus ride north to Teotihuacan to see the ancient pyramids, and on our last day we took a bus to the beautiful city of Puebla, 90 minutes east of Mexico City.
Each day was filled with such wonderful flavors, colors, sights and sounds!!
Being such an enormous city (about 18 million), Mexico City naturally has some problems, but it has so much to offer and the hard working, friendly people make it a joy to visit!
It truly is one of the most amazing cities in the world!
