This was our 2nd trip to Italy... to celebrate our 7th anniversary! And to visit the home of my ancestors, the Greco's...Sicily!
We started in Palermo, then took a train to the beautiful seaside town of Cefalu where the Greco's came from.
Then it was on to the stunning seaside town of Taormina with Mt. Etna as its backdrop. Then we took an overnight train to Naples and used Sorrento as our base to explore the stunning Amalfi Coast and to visit Pompeii.
Lastly, it was on to one of our favorite cities in the world, Rome!
