Norwegian Bermuda Cruise 2014
May 9-16, 2014
We took our first cruise out of Boston on a unique itinerary....
Depart Boston, then a day at sea, then the ship docks for 3 nights in Bermuda. Then the ship takes its' sweet time back to Boston with 2 days at sea before returning home.
This was actually ideal because Bermuda certainly deserves way more time than your average day-long port stop.
Bermuda was an amazing surprise! Breathtakingly beautiful beaches with crystal azure waters...lush rolling hills with lovely pastel houses cascading down the hillsides.
The weather was perfect for strolling through the quaint town of St. George as well as the
busy capital of Hamilton. 73 degrees, no humidity, no bugs! The only drawback is that the water is cold at about 70 degrees.
What a wonderful oasis in the middle of the Atlantic! Couldn't ask for more! Life is good!
